TLDR: Myofunctional therapy with Toni has been an A+++ experience. She's an exceptional therapist and coach, and optimizing tongue posture has benefits far beyond my mouth -- improving my breathing, posture, and overall well-being. I am nearly complete with my therapy with Toni after several months now, and the experience has exceeded my expectations. For years I'd known that tongue posture was important, but I hadn't consistently practiced it, nor really known proper technique, which I now know is key. Now I truly understand how foundational and integral it is. Improving tongue posture supports better breathing and airway function, which positively impacts the nervous system and overall health. I have a very narrow palate, which presents challenges with tongue posture, airway and breathing. On top of that, Toni recognized several mannerisms that suggested myofunctional therapy could improve my breathing, posture, and more. I rarely give a review unless it really deserves five stars! I am so lucky I have found Choices in Dentistry! I have been seeing doctor Nellie Sutherland for a few years now and she deserves more than five stars! Not only does she do an exceptional job but she is very honest and will not perform any unnecessary procedures. I have previously had a terrible experience with my last dentist who took advantage of my trust and gave me fillings where it was not necessary and crowns that were not needed. If you are looking for a dentist who is a perfectionist and looks out for the best interest of their patients, this is the place to be. I came across this office when my lifestyle changed to a more holistic approach and I found out they use ozone (which kills bacteria) as an add on during your cleaning service and also combine traditional with biological dentistry. The whole staff is extremely professional, kind and the office will give you a zen vibe. From the front desk, dental Hygienist to the Doctors you are taken care of. I’ve been so pleased with this dental office that I’ve sent my husband here who had to get his silver amalgam fillings removed using the S.M.A.R.T. – Safe Mercury Am

For the first time, I look forward to my dental appointments. That's due to the level of service and care that the team at Choices in Dentistry operates. Dr. Nellie (Sutherland) is a total joy and makes me feel right at home. Erika the hygienist does a fantastic job. They use the latest in dental enhancements-- from teeth cleaning to X-rays, the comfort level and ease only continue to get better and better. Thanks to this team and will see them again in a few months!

I recently had an outstanding experience at Dr. Solecki’s office. The practice is equipped with impressive, up-to-date technology that makes you feel like you’re receiving the most modern care available. What truly sets them apart is the expertise of the team. My hygienist, Toni, is incredibly knowledgeable and schooled in functional medicine; she provided insights into my oral health that went far beyond a standard cleaning. The entire staff is clearly highly competent and professional, operating with a seamless level of coordination. On top of the clinical excellence, the office offers a remarkably relaxing environment that eases any typical dental anxiety. If you are looking for a forward-thinking dental team that treats the whole person, I cannot recommend Dr. Solecki’s practice enough.

I've been to all the different biological dentists in the area that I know of and Choices in Dentistry is the best. I am so thankful for Dr. Gilleran- for her compassion and care. She has really tried to help me with my many dental issues. I'm so thankful for their holistic approach. I think they have a lot to offer. I would highly recommend coming to them for your dental needs.
